In week 11, we focused on ‘telling stories that matter and audio editing’. During the lectures we learnt about how to tell a story effectively to strengthen the narratives and to engage audiences with use of the the core elements of storytelling (the 5c’s). Additionally, we learnt about audio editing and post production through the Audacity app. For the audio content output of this assignment, I have written my own poem about the Tower Hamlets, recorded it and edited it.

In week 9, we learnt about visual storytelling and video editing production. The lecture taught us to build and structure video stories through editing techniques, styles and rhythm. We then applied this knowledge in the seminars where we edited and produced visual content, building ‘narrative’ using editing techniques. For the video output of this assignment, I have created an upbeat and engaging visual podcast trailer to my show ‘No Regrets (A-Z)’.
In week 10, we concentrated on evaluation and creative writing. During this week, we reflected on on what we learnt when making of a digital sketchbook for E1 and the feedback which we received. We looked at finding inspiration and practiced this using an ideas structure template. For the creative writing output of this assessment, I have used the feedback which I received from my last assessment and have acted on this to present a stronger character profile and worked on the flow of the letter.
